Another Week Full of Miracles, Happy Moments, and a Brand New Member of the Church

This week was amazing, the weeks just keep getting better with every passing day. I am sad that in 4 months it will come to a close, but the Mission has been such a great experience for me. Especially this week! Allow me to count a few of the moments of the week.

To start things off we were able to find some new people to teach last Tuesday. One of them is a friend of one of our investigators. He is really great, he loves to read and when we showed the Book of Mormon to him, he was really excited to read it. We invited him and his friend to church, but they couldn´t come yesterday, so we will try and work hard with them for next week. Our older investigator is being a little lazy on coming, so we will probably have to lift him to church this next week.

We had another cool thing happen this week. We were able to get a lot of new references this week. One member gave us a reference that has already received all of the lessons and only needs to be invited to be baptized, she has already been to church many times and her family likes the church as well. So we should be able to invite this person to be baptized this next week, once we meet her.

This week we were able to meet many new investigators at church. One is a husband of a less active who is trying to come back to church. He is really cool and liked the church a lot. He invited us to come and teach him in his house tomorrow so that will be super awesome. The other is dating one of the members in the ward. He is super cool and is really interested in the church. We will mark with him and talk to him more this week.

Then finally, we get to the best part of the week. Which comes back to our ex-investigator I. I was finally baptized last Saturday. He is such a great youth, one of the most spiritually strong I have ever seen here in the Mission. It was an awesome experience, especially because his parents came who aren´t members, they liked it a lot. We might have success now with teaching the rest of his family and baptizing them too, and he also has the Priesthood now, so he can help out with that too.

Well that about raps everything up for the week. Love all of you! I hope all of you are doing well, I pray for all of you. Everyone at home, keep doing well there and missionaries, keep serving with all your might, minds, and hearts to the Lord. That´s all from me. Have a great week everyone!

Another Fantastic Week in the Bag!

What is up everyone! What another fantastic week it has been, with Elder Poyfair here in Prosind. We have had another amazing week, with many great, fantastic, and quite interesting experiences. There were a lot of ups, but as always there were some downs. Allow me now to share the week. So here we go!

So to start out the week, we were able to have interviews with our President again. It was his last interview with the missionaries so it was a very great experience. We had a great talk him and I. I am going to miss him a lot.

This week we were able to find some new people to teach, a lot of the older ones we found didn´t move forward much, but a lot of them did. One of these new people has met with us a lot. His name is F. He loves the church a lot. His mom isn´t a very big fan of us, but we were able to clear some stuff up with her and that was good. F has a lot of faith, but his mom has been blocking us from him. He wants to be baptized, he has already been to church a couple of times and the missionaries have taught him before and what happened when we talked about baptism was super awesome and a little funny. When we talked about it. He stood up straight, put his hands on his hips and looked us straight into the eyes, and said with a firm voice. When can I be baptized. That was such a cool moment. We marked for this saturday but we will have to wait another week, because he didn´t come to church yesterday. But he is super great.

So something interesting that happened during the week, was that one of our fans exploded. It was very interesting to see that. It was a funny moment for my companion and I, we got nervous trying to plug stuff into the walls after that moment. But it was very interesting.

So you all remember I. Well things are just going completely well for him. He is progressing so much. He loves the church a lot and his testimony is strengthened every time we talk to him or when he comes to church. This Sunday we were able to give him a white shirt and tie to wear and he surprised me at how excited he was to receive that. He is so great. I am so happy that we were able to find him. We have also talked with his parents and they have accepted that he can be baptized in the church. We have marked that for this Saturday.

Well that´s about all for the week. I hope all of you are having a great week. I love you all and hope that all of you are safe and happy all of this week to come. Have a very happy week. Love you all. I´ll send some photos in a seperate email. Tchau tchau!

One Year and Six Months! What a way to start it out!

Hello everyone this week was fantastic. We had so many great moments this week. Allow me to share a few of the moments of the week.

To start out the week, we decided to start off new. So we went and found a lot of new people to teach. It was a great start to the week. We found so many families that not all wanted another visit, but a lot of them did. We found one family who has started to read the Book of Mormon. They really want to receive a witness that the Book is true so they are going to study and pray about it a lot.

We were able to receive a lot of references this week, so that was pretty awesome, we will be visiting with them these next few weeks. The members are really helping out a lot with that. We will be going tonight to teach one of them. He is super awesome and we are going to help him find his testimony that the church is true and baptize him.

Another awesome thing is, is that we finally talked with I about Baptism and he accepted to pray about it, and yesterday he came to us and told us that he knew it was something that he needed to do and that he needs to follow the Church. It was a super spiritual experience. We are going to try and set a date this week with him.

My companion and I are doing super well together, he is probably one of the best companions I have ever had. We are teaching a lot of people and the experiences we have had have been some of the best in my entire mission. We are super excited for the next weeks to come!

Yesterday was Mother´s Day as you all know and it was super legit to talk with my family and see how all of them were doing, and shout out to my Bishop here in Prosind for having us at his house that day. They are a super awesome family!

Well that about raps everything up! This week was super awesome and there are many more awesome things to come. We are super excited for that! But my goodness, only 5 more months! My mission is coming to an end, but I am going to fill every single one of those days with as much happiness and miracles as I can! Thanks to all for the Support you give me as I serve, it is such a strength for me! I love you all and I hope you all have a fantastic week. Remember to always walk with samba in your steps and to have very very very very very very very very very very x1000 sunny spirits everywhere you all go! That´s all from me! Have a great week to you all!

I have reached a point where I didn´t think would come!

Wow, what a great end to another transfer. This week was truely amazing, we had so many great things happen. So many highlights and so many new investigators. Allow me now to share these great moments.
So at the beginning of the week, we had a great activity with the ward. It was an amazing day and we had a lot of great moments. I have some pictures from the activity as well that I will post later in the email. The activity was also great because we had a lot of new visitors at the activity as well. As well as I, that young man that I talked about last week, came as well. He loved it a lot and he is starting to progress a lot. It all turned out really well in the end, there was food, games, messages, dancing. It was all super great.
So another great highlight is that I again, came to church yesterday. He is loving it a lot and we were able to give him a Book of Mormon as well, and we will talk to him this week about baptism and help him be prepared for that. He is liking everything so far so it will be super legit this next week to teach him.
So another thing that happened was transfers. The day has finally come that Elder Reynolds and I end our companionship. He was transferred to another area to train. He´s still in the Zone at least. So I´ll see him during the week. But he was awesome, I am going to miss him a lot. But my new companion is super legit! His name is Elder Poyfair, he´s from Arkansas. He only has 7 months in the mission but is super legit. He is super excited to get out and work this next transfer.
Well, that´s all for this week. Hope that all of you are doing super well and are having many great things happen in your lives. Love you all. Continue every day with Samba in your steps and keep a very very very very very very sunnyshine spirit everywhere you go! Until next week everyone! Falou!
