Sorry about last week everyone!

Hey everyone, I´m sorry that I forgot to write this email. It completely slipped my mind because I decided to write personal emails. But that last week was about the same as every week I sent, work was relaxed, we baptized another person, and transfers happened as you guys saw in my pictures, which I will send more in a seperate email from this one.

Anyway this week was awesome in my new area. This area is perfect for me. It´s huge! It´s like walking from my house to Orem everyday to work. It´s about 20km because our area is the richest part of Paraíba and a place that we can work is what I said in distance. It´s large. But our work had many fruits this week. We made I think 8 new investigators and we confirmed a man named Bruno and baptized a woman named Jessica. It was a really good week this week and the next will be even better. Well that´s all, I´ll leave my Scripture for the week. They have been scriptures that have helped me a lot, and I know if you guys really study them you can recieve amazing blessings.
They´re 2 Nephi 32:9 and Mark 6:36 Tchau para tudo, eu vou mandar estes fotos em algumas minutos, eu tenho muitos!

The Joy that is in my heart for this past week is beyond my Comprehension!

Wow! This week was awesome! It started out a little week though because at the start of the week we had a Game of the World Cup and a Zone Conference after so we couldn´t get much done at the start of the week. All in all, it still came out with a bang. The Miracles that happened at the end of this past week were amazing! We had so much success, we were on our knees begging the night before that we could at least get one of our investigators to come to church, and I know with out a doubt especially now, that God always answers our prayers in Faith. We came into the Sacrament Hall and we had 9 investigators there! The joy that I had was beyond my comprehension. I was so happy. I almost fell to the ground because of it. To add on to that miracle. Is that we recieved 8 references after that, and one of them we talked to and marked to visit tomorrow. She is so awesome! It added even more to my joy. We also prior to Sunday had a Baptism on Wednsday. We unfortunately weren´t able to confirm him but we will get that done this coming Sunday! After all of this and when we got back to the House yesterday I fell on the floor because I was so overcome with joy, I testify that Miracles do exist, they did not cease with the Apostles of Old, they continue on as long as we have the Faith and kneel down before God always. I have a Scripture I´d like to share for this week. It´s Alma 22:16 and it says;

16 But Aaron said unto him: If thou desirest this thing, if thou wilt bow down before God, yea, if thou wilt repent of all thy sins, and will bow down before God, and call on his name in faith, believing that ye shall receive, then shalt thou receive the hope which thou desirest.

I love this scripture a lot. It is something that has helped me a lot this past week, or since Friday when I read it. It is when Aaron is teaching the Father of King Lamoni and he wants to know a specific thing that Ammon said unto him. And Aaron told him that if He would bow himself down unto God, or as I studied it. If you will kneel down in Faithful, Sincere, and Humble Prayer before God. Asking and also begging for forgivness of all your misdeads. Then asking in Faith for the things that you desire, believing on the name of the Lord and having Faith in Him unwavering. He will grant unto you that desire that you wish for. I know that this is true. I have witnessed the Miracle of it this past week. It has been an amazing comfort to me my companion and our work. I know that these things are true without any doubt in my Heart. I know that the Lord will bless me as I have Faith and Hope in Him, and I use His gift of Charity that I may bless all of you and all of my investigators and members here as well. This I leave with another scripture that I love as well that can be a blessing to all of you as you study. It´s Moroni 7:40-48. It´s a fantastic Scripture that I love very much and want to leave with all of you, that you guys can study it and apply it yourselves as well. That´s all for this email. I´m sorry but I don´t have as many pictures as before. Até o próximo! Tchau Tchau!

Miracles are happening here in Brasil! Another Baptism, another win in the Cup!

Ei! What´s happenin family! How's life where you guys are at! Life is crazy here in Brasil. Especially with what happened this morning! Brasil did it! We got another one! Brasil 2-0 Mexico! We´re moving on! I hope that we can make it to the final... actually I don´t hope for that. I don´t want the work to stop this year. Apparently what happens here is when they win a World Cup, the whole year becomes a Holiday. That´s what my companion says anyway.

We got another Baptism this week! Her name is G and she is such a high spirited person. She did the exact same thing her sister did when I baptized her sister as well. We went down into the water and she just fell and I barely caught her before she went in, and had to explain to her that after the prayer she could go under. The water was probably 0 degreeses. It was a very great experience and we confirmed her a member yesterday! But anyway that´s the Highlights for this past week! I´ll end by leaving the message like I always do! Hope all of you are doing great! Até o próximo carta!

President James E. Faust taught:

“Hope is the anchor of our souls. …
“Hope is trust in God’s promises, faith that if we act now, the desired blessings will be fulfilled in the future. …
“The unfailing source of our hope is that we are sons and daughters of God and that His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, saveus from death” (“Hope, an Anchor of the Soul,” Ensign, Nov1999, 59–60).
As you can see it´s about Hope! I´ve been studying a lot about hope this past week and something that it says in this quote really helps me out a lot. Hope is our Trust in the Lord. When it says, faith that if we act now, the desired blessings will be fulfilled in the future... I love that a lot. It helps me to know that when I have Faith in the Lord and Trust in Him, the things that I´m desiring to be blessed in my life and especially in the lives of others will come to pass as I continue to put all my Faith and Hope in the Lord. I leave this challenge with you this week, or whenever you read this. To put all Faith and Trust in the Lord, in whatever you do. Don´t have doubts, when you have doubts or troubles in your thoughts or acts, continue to just face them positive and always say; I have faith in the Lord, and I will always Trust in Him that these doubts or troubles I am having will go away. Just keep saying this phrase over and over when you have problems. It has helped me a lot and I know it can help you in all of your trials as well.
Wow that´s BIG!
